About Jacqui

Jacqui Taylor – Event Manager and Director of Leading Note Ltd, is an incredible woman who has led an inspirational life. During her 18 years working as a Foreign Exchange broker in the City of London, specialising in short-term dollar / sterling arbitrage and FX swaps, Jacqui learned to work calmly under high pressure, for long hours.

Whilst in the City, she qualified as an Aromatherapist, becoming a massage tutor for the Tisserand Institute of Aromatherapy. This experience ignited her interest in holistic therapy, creating her complementary therapy business - Outstanding Lives Ltd, and set her on a path of healing, teaching and coaching others. This was the beginning of an ever-increasing search for knowledge and understanding of the mind, spirit and body integration. Building on her interest in psychology, she continued her professional development, gaining qualifications and expertise in Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Her enthusiasm developed into the area of coaching and peak performance training, working as a trainer for World-Renowned Motivational Coach - Anthony Robbins. Continuing her interest in the psychology of business, she uses NLP strategies in corporate environments, and has been able to bring about paradigm shifts in her clients’ approach to business and finance, leading to outstanding success in both their business and personal lives.

Theatre and Performance

Jacqui’s early career began at stage school, where she appeared in many pantomimes and West-End Theatre productions. This inspired her love of being on the stage and has transferred into her teaching, where she continues to be an inspirational presence on the platform in the conferences, courses, and seminars, that she presents worldwide for numerous organisations. Her interest in both singing and song writing continues, and she regularly performs in concerts all over the world. Her latest project was to co-write and produce Joe Leaders’ new Album, Healing the Heart, released under their own label – Leading Note Ltd.

Management and Teamwork

Having been involved in the theatre from an early age, Jacqui knows how to capture an audience both from on-stage and off. She has the vision to be able to create and develop a production from the smallest of ideas, and to manage the whole event from start to finish. Her leadership skills are outstanding, and she can inspire a team to work together efficiently and harmoniously. She learnt from and worked with her father - Ray Taylor, in numerous International and World Events. She has been involved in many ‘Spectaculars’, running all aspects of Stage / Event Management including event planning, timings, lighting, live TV, sound, and video:

  • World Modern Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships

Their first concert together in 2011, was held at London’s prestigious Jazz Club - The Pheasantry, Chelsea. The recording of this successful show became Joe’s debut Live album – Seductive Sax, which reached the top 20 in the US Smooth Jazz charts.

Jacqui solely represents Joe as his Artist Manager and produces and arranges all his events and recordings worldwide.

“Jacqui is an incredibly capable person with vast experience and expertise in so many fields. I have seen her, first hand, dealing with choirs, orchestras, brass bands, pianists, organists, and some of the UK’s most famous operatic singers – and doing it with authority and total understanding of the various pressures affecting these, sometimes, vulnerable artists. Her management of live events, demonstrate her complete professionalism and outstanding talents.”

Frank Lincoln – BBC Radio 3 Announcer, Compère, Stage Presenter - Cardiff Singer of the World.

“Jacqui was the mastermind behind the management and organisation of the Choir of the World, for the 2012 London Olympics, at the Royal Festival Hall. I was conducting that night, and her help over several days organising many large choirs from around the world, through rehearsals and concert, was truly exceptional. She has a special talent for dealing with people, in this case an awful lot of them!"

“I have known Jacqui for over 40 years. As Chairman of the London Welsh Festival of Male Choirs, Jacqui was my Stage Manager / Event Manager of our biennial event, with up to 1000 choristers on stage at the Royal Albert Hall, since 1982. She’s the most competent, capable and efficient professional I could have asked for, and in my opinion we were an amazing team. Being on stage during a performance, it is so comforting having Jacqui as Stage Manager, knowing she would deal with any last-minute issues that might occur.”

David Williams – Chairman – London Welsh Festival of Male Choirs (1982 – 2018)

“Our deep thanks to you for being our Event and Stage Manager at this year’s Festival. Your proven methodology and your personal determination brought the show together technically and visually. The underlying infrastructure was delivered extremely efficiently, as always.”

David Jones, Chairman - London Welsh Male Voice Choir – 2018

“I want to say how superb you have been over the years as Stage Manager / Event Manager of the Festival. You have a detailed knowledge of the workings of the Royal Albert Hall administration, which has been invaluable to the organisation of the Festival, and your thorough paperwork in the weeks leading up to, as well as the leadership you give to your crew on the day of the Festival, makes everything run smoothly. Many thanks.”

Keith Warren – Festival of Welsh Male Voices
